Wooden bed frames are things of the past – update your bedroom with the stylish Favela Bed (queen size). The headboard is padded, button-tufted, and upholstered in a beautiful beige rayon/linen blend. The side rails and footboard are also fully upholstered. Made with a wooden frame and black wood feet, sound construction is not left by the wayside. Wooden slats are also included with a steel frame and matching black coated steel legs. This is a platform bed, so a box spring is not needed. Assembly is required.
I wasn't sure about ordering a queen size bed online...so I investigated this bed elsewhere. Being a prime member I realized that getting the shipping free on a 300 pound bed was a huge savings. The bed came very well packaged, but only made it to my garage because of the weight and size. I broke that bed down in my garage and brought in the parts individually. It was easy to put together ( I would recommend 2 people) and it looks amazing! I love it! The quality is great and one of the reasons I chose this bed was because it looks more solid. Love it....highly recommend this purchase!

The Java bed features a low box platform which holds the mattress securely in place. The sleigh headboard is a wood frame surrounding a solid wood panel that makes for a gracefully elegant and understated look. The headboard is detachable for a minimalist style.

It arrived in good condition delivered by FedEx. The assembly was easy. It took us an hour to put it together. It looks solid, stylish and elegant.Please note two things: The wooden base is slatted (not completely solid). Also, a 12 inch or thicker mattress works best if you plan to use the bed without a box-spring. With a thinner mattress there may be a small gap between the headboard and bed. Small items (watches, glasses) kept near the pillow can easily fall behind.The vendor responded to my email queries quite promptly.Overall, a good buy. Worth the price !!

The Adelaide has a traditional brass bed look, updated with a new finish making it seem like it has been in the back of an Antique store for decades. The finish on the bed is called Tungsten Gray, which is a matte gunmetal color, but has antiqued brass top rails and finials. There is also an antique brass highlighting on its many castings. The measurement of the top of the headboard finials is an impressive 57 inches with a corresponding 43 inches for the footboard, which has the same antiquing on its lower grill castings and feet. The Adelaide bed proves that classic never goes out of style.
I love this bed. It goes well with my high quality bedding set with gold threads.This bed brought richness to my bed room.I had a problem with item, but Amazon was able to work with me.

The Nelson is a lovely wood bed that contains elements of a traditional Louis Philippe design. While not a sleigh bed, it has a thick top rail which curves sinuously across the span of the grills. The 53-1/2-Inch headboard and 33-1/2-Inch footboard both have twin carved panels and are finished in a rustic Distressed Cherry. A unique feature of this bed is the duality of the sizing. The bed is available as Full/Queen and King/California King and can be utilized with any of those size mattresses, depending on the frame and where it is attached to the post.
Very attractive, solid wood very easy to assemble, one dowel was the wrong size and needed to be shavel to the correct size.Warning: Has a very strong, overwhelming chemical smell. I'm assuming it's from the stain used on the wood. Will need to be aired out for several days. Have had it for 2 days and it's going back out to the garage to air-out.

The Jakarta's contemporary, slightly Asian style fits perfectly in today's modern surroundings. Available in two finishes, Black or Mahogany, the low box platform comes complete with wood slats onto which a mattress is placed, thereby eliminating the need for a box spring. The headboard's top rail has a slight curve and straight spindles, giving it a clean, geometric look. The headboard is also detachable, if an even more minimalist style is desired. Either way, this bed can adapt to many decors or can make a statement all on its own
Assembly was pretty easy. The bed (especially the headboard) looks nice and is of a pretty good quality. Have slept on it now for a few weeks and it is sturdy. Only complaint is that the bed is slightly wider than my mattress (which is a queen size Bergad memory foam mattress...no box springs). As a result, you can see an inch or so of the unpainted bed slats. But maybe my mattress is a bit non-standard, I really don't know. No big deal, the bed sheets cover it up. Anyhow, I like the bed overall.

Love the headboard, it's very stylish. The sideboards are ok - difficult to put together and even after getting a replacement sent out the pieces still don't fit together exactly right. For the price though I think it was worth it.

Angular, straightforward, dramatic but softened by fluid waves of metal which remind us of the waves crashing against the shore of its namesake. Teardrop accents draw the eye to the point where they enhance the lilting waves of this very contemporary bed. The iced Silver finish could be the foam from the top of the Malibu surf in the early morning hours as it falls upon the shore. And the versatile color goes with any décor from bright and bold to soft and muted. A must have for the person who prefers a simple but elegant style.
I bought the headboard. It's very well made and very stylish. Great for a seaside or art deco/nouveau vibe. Easy to assemble and sturdy. Beautiful brushed finish and with the free shipping, it was super deal. I received the bed in less than 2 weeks and assembled and installed it in 30 minutes. Great price too!

The bed was packaged well and in perfect condition. The color is not as expected/pictured, but actually really beautiful! The fabric is sort of a canvas weave, but soft, and has more of a taupe/gray feel than what I would consider pewter. It's very neutral and will go with anything. The nailheads are brass. Everything went together as expected, despite some initial mix-ups in wrong screw placement due to the horrible directions. For the people complaining about the corners not being flush here's what I recommend. Place the support "L" brackets at the BOTTOM (underneath the metal frame) of the corners instead of the top (this is contrary to the directions). This works like a charm in keeping the bottom edges from pulling away when you bolt the upholstered sides to the frame. This bed needs a box spring for those asking about that. I recommend this bed if you have a budget, but want decent quality and a rich look. Great buy!

When your product arrives 2 weeks ahead of schedule you are starting off on the right foot. It was a hppy day :)I shopped for 3 months before deciding on this bed. CB has a very similar bed which IS higher in quality but at a VERY high price. I sacrificed a bit on quality and did the assembly myself but saved over $1,400 and recieved my product weeks before CB could deliver.Lots of parts to put together but it isn't that hard. I am a 5'3 125lb 43yo woman who put it together all by herself. I only needed help lifting the box spring and matress back onto the bed.My only complaint is the foot board and sideboards do not fit together perfectly. There is a small gap that I notice but no one else has. I think 2 "L" brackets and 4 wood screws could solve the problem - if I had some on hand I would have fastened the corners on the inide and have a perfect product. Minus 1 star for that minor issue.Very satisfied and would positively recommend this to anyone who is willing to sacrifice some quality and time spent on assembly to save MUCHO $$$.

A standout among mixed media beds. Transitional styling in a sleigh design that will complement almost any décor. The rich Honey Oak finished wood and soft Autumn Brown swirling scrolls are a perfect blend of light and dark, soft and dramatic. A charming, romantic addition to a master bedroom or guest room.
This bed frame is absolutely beautiful. It looks beautiful in the sun light, and goes well with taupe/brown/chocolate design themes. The only downfall is that even though it is a queen size bed, there are large 3 or 4 inch gaps between the queen sized mattress and the headboards. I tend to push my mattress towards the headboard, that way the gap is eliminated where my arms and head are (thus I won't have to deal with my arms falling in the crevice, or pillows falling in the crevice), and instead I let the gap be larger at the foot, where it doesn't really effect me. I highly recommend this bed frame! Best piece of furniture I ever bought!

Bed looks great once assembled. I guess the price is cheap to offset the beeeatch assembly. Get ready to go to the hardware store to pick up missing hardware. Although the instructions are not in Chinese, they may as well have been.Use a high mattress or you will have a gap between the bottom of the headboard and the top of the mattress. Bottom line is the cheaper price was probably worth the assembly hassle.

We bought this and a mattress when we moved into our new house. It is a good quality and was fairly easy to assemble. It tool maybe an hour due to the size and all of the pieces. The reason I gave it four stars is because the back shelving does not physically attach to the main part the mattress goes on. The problem with this is the back has very little support and shakes easily bouncing off the wall. It is very sturdy and easily supports me and my wife. The drawers are a nice touch as well.
